The inspiration for this book started from a movie I saw with my family on the ‘Migration of the Monarch butterfly. Soon there after my daughter showed me and a butterfly drawing she created at art college. I was so inspired by her creative exploration II went into my room and started drawing my characters that day. It was a combination of these events and many other amazing coincidences that propelled me to imagine, create, draw, and write this unique ‘once upon a time’ story book. Many times in my flower gardens the butterfly and I had some magical experiences, I truly believe we were communicating.
